Oasis Parque is a 5 minute drive from junction 4 of the new A22 motorway which can be picked up within 10 minutes of leaving Faro Airport.
There are a small number of very Portuguese bars/ restaurants and a large supermarket within a 5 minute stroll. Portimao is one of the major towns in the Algarve. As such it is typically Portuguese and mainly serves the local community with an array of shops, restaurants and a new marina. Alvor is a picturesque fishing village with narrow cobbled streets teaming with restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and budgets. Head to Praia da Rocha for its nightlife!
The Algarve coastline stretches from the Spanish border to Sagres – the most south westerly point of Europe. There are plenty of towns and beaches to explore. We would recommend: - a boat trip from Lagos to explore the caves ,a visit to the medieval town and spa of Monchique,a drive west along the dramatic coastline to Cape St Vincent, a Chicken Piri-Piri dinner in Guia. If you are feeling slightly more adventurous then Lisbon is only a 2 hour drive.
There are over 100 beaches along the Algarve and they are all sandy! Here are some of our favourites:- Praia da Rocha, Caneiros Praia, Praia do Benigil, Praia do Carnavial, Praia de Beliche.
Try zoo marine for dolphin and sea lion shows and fairground rides. Krazy World combines a strange mixture of crazy golf, petting zoo and small fairground rides – great fun! For the energetic there are 2 large water parks within a 20 minute drive
